Policies of Great Powers and the Issue of Montenegro at the Paris Peace Conference of 1919.
World War I was a war conflict of such proportions and the number of victims that Europe hadn't experienced since. It destroyed the old continent as a political, economical and cultural center of the world in such a measure that the broad spectrum of consequences of four years of war affected both the victors and defeated. For the first time, the old European great powers could not end the war without help of two non-European countries: the USA and Japan.
