Marketing has a vital impact on the design and promotion of a destination's tourism product. To be successful, marketing must be well organised and have skilled professionals. Marketing activities must centre on a destination's visitors. The primary goals of marketing are meeting visitor wants and needs and generating profit for the organiser's of the offering.
