The Productivity, Quality and Competitiveness of Croatian Tourism - a theoretical and practical approach
A primary objective of Croatia’ s tourism development strategy is to increase the competitiveness of Croatian tourism. Competitive ability depends upon an entire array of impacting factors and this is reflected in the complexity of research. This study focuses on only two fundamental factors of the competitiveness of Croatian tourism: productivity and quality of the tourism product. The task of the study is to provide a theoretical and empirical framework for productivity and quality. The study’ s objective is to underline the importance and impact of enhanced productivity and quality on accelerating the growth and competitiveness of Croatian tourism.
