Sažetak
Quality of printing press is the key thing for getting the more quality advertisements which brings the income. First and basic thing for quality of the printing press is the visual control of ink at the print. In this labor a research has been conducted which results with findings about the consumption and influence of exhaustions of machine elements on the print quality. Newspaper machines are limited as for gamut of inks in CIE L*a*b* system because printing is carried out only using four basic inks (the cyan, magenta, yellow and blacks). Taking into account that the carrier of information is printing plate produced on the CTP system and also that the rubber cover on the offset cylinder is new (quality and correctly placed), we should get good print quality. When have precisely made printing plate and quality rubber cover on the offset cylinder, the key element in getting print quality is the system of rollers for the wetting and system of rollers for the inking printing plates. If one from two mentioned systems is not adequately set up, these elements (rollers for the transfer of wetting solution or rollers for the transfer and distribution of ink) are not quality (the rubber cover on rollers) we will not be in ability for getting the suitable print quality, which will result with smaller earnings on advertisements.
