Dynamic Behavior for Some Nonlinearity Correcting Methods in Industrial Platinum Resistance Thermometer
The comparison of dynamic behavior for several methods for nonlinearity correction of Platinum resistance industrial thermometers in production phase is presented in this paper. The measuring temperature transducer is based on microcontroller with an algorithm, so the conversion of resistance to temperature is done. As the measuring sensor has nonlinear transfer function it is necessary to make its correction. There are several methods and several algorithms to do this based on Callender - van Dusen method. This comparison is performed for six versions of microcontroller software used for temperature measuring transducer. The dynamic behavior in this paper includes execution time and step response analysis. Based on this analysis transducer design could result in faster processing and response.
