ANALYSIS AND PRELIMINARY DESIGN OF INDUSATRIAL ENERGETIC PLANTS
Methods of thermodynamic analysis of continuous processes used in practicle during analysis of the process itself have been presented in this work. Grand composite curve is most frequently used for thermodynamic analysis of the validity of the given parameters of hot utility in respect of the process. The basic parameters essential for preliminary design of heat engines (industrial power plants) are obtained from thermodynamic analysis of the process for which the power plant has been constructed. Using illustration example it is possible to determine certain basic parameters from preliminary design of cogenerative process of steam turbine which will provide steam for the process. Useful thermodynamic parameters on the process itself are obtained by presented way of process analysis, which also enable implementation of heat integration of process and heat engines.
