Creating Virtual Models of Production Equipment For Simulation of a Manufacturing Process System

This paper presents an investigation of virtual reality implemented in production engineering processes. Developed virtual model was implemented in eM-Plant Siemens Technomatix. Modelling was done with SolidWorks software where planned system machines for manufacturing in combination with a robot arm were constructed. Main objective of research is to reduce the costs of system exploitation and time needed for its development in comparison with conventional method.
