Investigation of Aluminium Flow Stress and Plasticity of Aluminium and Aluminium Alloys at High Temperatures.
Flow stress and plasticity of aluminium and aluminium alloys AlMgSi0.5 (ASTM 6060), AlMgSi1 (6082), AlCuPbBi (2011) and AlCuMgPb (2007), have been investigated using the torsion method on an Adahmel Lhomargy TC01 torsion plastometer and stretching method on a Zwick 1162 breaking machine, by cold stand and at high temperatures. The results imply and confirm the optimum heat range for plastic processing and provide mathematical regularity of mechanical properties regarding flow strain, which can be applied in practice and in process modelling.
