Methods of Investigating Worker Movements in Garment Industry
Worker movements are investigated in sewing at sitting workplaces, designed employing two different transport systems: with conventional transport stands and overhead transport system. Two new methods of measuring and biomechanical analysis of movements are employed: the ELITE system of movement analysis, based on 3D measurements of glued marker positions, by which characteristic body (or body part) points to be investigated are marked, as well as the method of measuring processing parameters, MMPP, which makes possible a comprehensive determination of garment sewing operation processing parameters possible, together with ergonomical factors of work as sewing workplaces, using a specific research equipment based on automatic measurements and data acquisition.
