Sažetak
In this work the natural deformation resistance of the microalloyed 0.048%Nb steel was tested. By the method of torsion to break the natural deformation resistance kf in the temperature region of 910-1250C was investigated. The specimens were torsed to break and quickly cooled in the water. The fracture of hot torsion specimens was investigated by scanning electron microscopy. The fracture surface is characterized by dimple like fracture. The relation of Nb precipitates, fracture surface of hot torsion specimens and the curve of the natural deformation resistance was confirmed. Over the temperature range of 910-830C the increase of natural deformation resistance due to Nb carbonitrides was found.
