Sažetak
A rock stability problem developed during the construction of the northern tube of the St Kuzam Tunnel, in the town of Rijeka, Croatia and about 30 m of constructed tunnel collapsed. Experience gained from the application of high-strength, high-performance sprayed concrete (HPFRS) showed that this material is suitable for use as a primary tunnel lining.
