Virtual classroom - a supplement to foreign language learning: a pilot project carried out at the Faculty of Teacher Education

This article presents the results of a preliminary research at the Teacher Education Academy in Zagreb, regarding students' attitudes towards learning a foreign language in virtual classrooms. The results will also reveal the advantages and disadvantages of learning a foreign language through that particular medium, namely the language skills and competencies that the students can acquire and further develop. In addition to that, it will show the extent to which a particular software, in this case, the Moodle Platform can be adapted and used for learning such a complex structure as is language.
