The impact of globalisation factors on future tourism development and tourism marketing activities
The world is becoming increasingly interconnected. Places that were once very remote have today been brought much closer together with the development of diverse transportation means. It is often said that the world has become a ‘large village’, and the relationships within this huge conglomerate are becoming ever tighter. These relationships have produced globalisation, hitherto unknown to the world. Globalisation is a worldwide phenomenon that is building new modes of expression and new relationships, and calling for new knowledge and skills. Increasingly, it is blurring boundaries, connecting people, and creating ideal conditions for tourism development.
