It is often said that the world has become a ‘large village’, and the relationships within this huge conglomerate are becoming ever tighter. These relationships have produced globalisation, hitherto unknown to the world. Globalisation is a worldwide phenomenon that is building new modes of expression and new relationships, and calling for new knowledge and skills. Increasingly, it is blurring boundaries, connecting people, and creating ideal conditions for tourism development.
