Influence of high-temperature treatment up to 2400˘C on structural parameters of cokes produced from coal with some additives
The aim of this study was to find out the relationship between the optical and crystallographic structures of the investigates cokes before and after high-temperature treatment up to 2400˘C. Resultes are showed that crystallographic and optical parameters depended on the type of additive and heating temperature. Among the samples examined, the highest crystallite height and degree of graphitization were for the coke produced from 80% coal and 20% coal tar pitch as additive.
