Comoprasion of the Processing of Siro-spun Yarns and Conventional ply Yarns Into the Fabric
Advantages and disadvantages of the Siro-spun yarn compared to the conventional yarn will be analyzed. The advantage of Siro spinning process is elimination of processing stages, like electronic cleaning phase which results in higher yarn breakages, a more difficult passage over the machine elements, and eventually in a bad fabric quality. Conventional ply yarn has a more compact structurte resulting in a higher resistence to mechanical loads during weaving. Due to an opener structure Siro-spun yarn cannot withstand frictions and stresses resulting in a greater number of process neps during weaving. The result is a bad fabric appearance.
