Sažetak
In 45 patients we analyzed the phenotype of the perifollicular lymphocytic infiltrate in progressive and in stabilized phase of disease. Monoclonal antibodies were used against CD3, CD4, CD8, CD8, IL-2r, and antigens HLA I and II. In specimens from affected skin in progressive phase, CD4+, IL-2r+ and HLA I antigens were widely expressed by the majority of the perifollicular lymphocytes and by the bulbar keratinocytes. CD8+ HLA II antigens were weakly expressed. In the specimens from affected skin in stabilized phase, there were also abundant CD3+ and CD4+ cells. HLA II antigens were unchanged considering progressive phase ; HLA I was weakly expressed than in early lesions ; and CD8+ and IL-2r+ were almost absent. All controls showed very few CD8+ cells scattered throughout the dermis, and few CD4+ cells generally in association with sebaceous glands. HLA I was weakly expressed, and HLA II and IL-2r + were almost absent.
