New strategic lines of Croatian tourism development
Tourism in Croatia is not achieving the results that it should, considering the country's natural resource base. It is caught between the remnants of mass tourism and aspirations towards modern tourism trends that would reposition it on the European market. The development concept and strategy of Croatia's tourism must seek to overcome existing issues and provide concrete solutions that will help to transform the advantages of Croatia's natural resource base into a high-quality preference. In crating an original and distinctive product and brand, it is essential to establish new strategic lines of development at both the macro level (destinations) and the micro level(hotel and tourism companies). Priority is given to initiating change in active creating the future (staying ahead of rivals, and even staying ahead of client needs).
