The influence of hyperbaric oxigenation and indomethacin on the level of free fatty acids after experimental spinal cord injury
In this experiment we followed the effect of HBOT, effect of indomethacin, as well as the effect produced by combining these therapeutical approaches on the level of palmitic (C16:0), stearic (C18:0), oleic (C18:1), arachidonic (C20:4n-6) and docosahexaenoic (C22:6n-3) acid in an experimental model of a SCI in rabbits. That is the part of the project with the aim of determing of functional and biochemical parameters as well as the effect of specific therapies on these parameters.
