Spectral Analysis of the Kinetic Structure of Rowing in Four Successive Strokes
The obtained discreet, equidistal and successive values of the three strokes for the four functions (left leg, left arm, right leg, right arm) along with the defining of the time points intervals, discretisation steps and the period of the functions of the spectral density, enabled the application of the program for the spectral analysis in the Powden program, from the statistics packet “ Stat Pack” . Through the application of the measuring instruments we obtained the time and space elements that enabled the qualitative and quantitative definition of the kinetic structure of rowing in three successive strokes. The equidistally and successively quantified four functions, amongst which there are auto-correlation, cross-correlation, the spectre of power density and the spectre of mutual power, indicate the dynamics of spatious-temporal determinations of particular body parts that participate in the kinetic structure of rowing in three successive strokes. The obtained results point to the important function of the synchronised regulation processes within the kinetic structure for the realisation of the start in rowing.
