Canonical Relations Between Movement Speed of Unilateral and Bilateral Parts of the Body
On the basis of maximal correlation between a pair of linear functions of two groups of variables (unilateral and bilateral parts of the body), two characteristic roots have been isolated in the space of parallel lateralisation (right arm - right leg, which takes 86.26% of the mutual variance). Two pairs of the canonical characteristic roots in the space of transversal lateralisation (right arm - left arm, which takes 92.49% of the mutual variance) and two pairs of characteristic roots in the space of diagonal lateralisation (right arm - left leg, which takes 84.78% of the mutual variance and left arm - right leg, which takes 80.25% of the mutual variance). Obtained results show dependence of the movement speed of unilateral and bilateral parts of the body on topological and functional properties of the body. Variability and covariability of movement speed within bilateral and unilateral parts of the body have been defined and curved following topological segments. It proves that besides mechanism for the regulation of movement speed in particular parts of the body, there is a central mechanism which is responsible for movement speed of bilateral parts of the body. In the basis of those indicators, there is a strong common central mechanism for regulation and the degree of excitation and activation of the motoric units, a mechanism for regulation of the function of synergetic regulation , regulation of the tone and the speed of efferent and synaptic transmission.
