Sub/version: Essays in Contemporary Art and Culture

The collection of essays on contemporary media art entitled Sub/versions gathers articles and book chapters written in a serial since 2000-2008 and published with cultural magazines as Springerin, Pavilion as well as book chapters. Some of them were translated and republished to up to seven languages and this would be the first publication where they flow from one to another, as they were written. With specific style of analyzing which compares taboo objects marginal to what is assumed being culture ; as Croatian „ passport chocolate“ , drawing of political division of Bosnia in “ Ashdown serviette” , Youtube porn movie, trees glued with chewing gums, in parallel to institutionalized art, presented in museums and galleries, this book of essays points to common symptoms of both radical art and politics in present age as ; lie, cultural prostitution, theft, victims symptoms, necrophilia, revenge.
