KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDES AMONG PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS TOWARDS BULLYING
Introduction: The aim of this survey is to investigate acknowledge and behavior among primary school teachers and to establish are there any differences between the trained group of teachers and those not included in the training. Methods: The survey was carried out among 59 trained teachers and 62 not included in the training of the Zagreb County schools using the "Teacher Questionnaire" by Smith, Toda, Nicolaides Results: We did not found significant differences in knowledge among trained and non-trained teachers. Difference between two groups of interviewees relates to the recommended defense of the victim of bullying, 93% of educated teachers think that they should seek for help from their friends, contrary to 77 % non-educated teachers. Educated teachers see bullying as " a significant problem " in 55% of schools while non- educated teachers think that bulling is a problem in 46, 3 schools. Discussion: A comprehensive and consistent implementation of well-designed education at schools and community will help prevent and mitigate the problem of bulling among children in schools.
