Experimental and numerical analysis of timber pedestrain bridge structure

This paper presents experimental and theoretical analysis of the timber pedestrian bridge structures. Experimentally obtained results (strain and deflection), predictions and requirements, and to determine the capability of the structure to take over the design load. The bridge was analysis with respect to static and dynamic loading. Numerical analysis of the timber pedestrain bridge was performed by finite element method with the use of COSMOS software.
