Electrochemical characterization of iron(III) complexes with citic, malic and succinic acid

Three investigated ligands (citric, malic and succ-inic acid) form electroactive complexes with iron(III). Redox processes depend on the solution pH, ligand and iron concentrations. Electrochemical responses depend on different voltammetry technique parameters (scan rate, fequency, amplitude). Measured retention time of iron(III) complexes with citric and malic acid in model solution (0.55 M sodium chloride)was found to be few months, except with succinic acid, few weeks.
