The Importance of New Technologies of Retail Companies
The article starts from the importance of new technology and of trends of technical-technological development as extraneous factors in the strategy of a retail company, and from the development of information technology as the critical factor of success. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the importance and possibilities of the RFID technology. New technologies allow for the creation of large business systems, and for efficient interlocking of retailers with other participants in the supply chain. Therefore, technical-technological development is of decisive importance in the new formatting of the retail business units.
