On the design of self-learning fuzzy controllers for nonlinear control systems by using a referent model and a sensitivity model
The paper presents a concept of self-learning of a fuzzy controller by using a referent model and a sensitivity model. Sensitivity functions are used in a reference model-based learning mechanism that generates increments of centroid of the output fuzzy subsets that have been activated by the system error trajectory and corresponding fuzzy control rules. The simulation results indicate that transient responses of an unknown nonlinear high-order system follow the referent model response very closely after several runs of the system.
