The Potential of the Feminist 'Suitcase' – Preservation, Time(s) and Embodiment of Women's Heritage
The contribution discusses the new perpectives on collecting, preserving and sharing women's history through the concept of women's travelling heritage. The paper deals with rethinking a status of women’s heritage that configures a place between inheritance and invention whose past, like their present, must somehow be reinvented through constant readings of one another as well as intertextual support, mutual enforcement and interweaving. In this respect, a “travelling women’s heritage” is just as likely about treasuring interactive process in its multiple conversations among women and feminist actors who search for a recognisable location.
