Strategic and tactical plans as part of controlling in marina management
Before a Marina as a global business entity starts doing business, or placing to the market its tourist product, even before it makes a plan about its nautical tourist product, it has to plan its policy. As a performance part of its policy a Marina has to define/plan its strategy immediately. That part of the plan is called strategic plan. It contains decisions about the kind of nautical and tourist business activities of the Marina, segmentation of the market to which the Marina is oriented, the kind of product it is offering and developing, and all other strategic elements in relation to realisation of the business policy of the Marina. Strategic planning is made at the levels of a new/future marina, and includes details of time, carriers and all possible aspects of a plan (market, finances, investment and development, personnel, proprietary etc.)
