Energy spectra of slow electrons in double ionization of Helium by high energy Compton scattering
We present results for the energy spectra of slow ejected electron in the process of double ionization of Helium by high energy Compton scattering. At high energies, the process is dominated by shake-off (SO) mechanism, which includes ground state correlations of Helium, but neglects final state electron-electron correlations.\\ However, the experimental findings of Spielberger et al. and Becker et al. for impact photon energy range from 40 keV to 120 keV point to persistent influence of final state correlations.\\ In recent works we developed a perturbative approach for calculations of cross section and angular correlations which includes both, SO mechanism and final state correlations. With our perturbation calculation we explained the slow convergence of double to single cross section ratio towards the asymptotic value, and we predicted angular correlations
