Sažetak
The reliable operation of a gas turbine power plant depends on the air and fuel quality, and on chemical composition of the present impurities. The excess concentration of certain fuel components or a contamination in one or more operation media may cause corrosion, damage risk of the gas turbine components like gas turbine compressor, valves, burners, turbine airfoils, cooling channels, etc. Knowledge about mentioned, improvements in gas turbine design and use new materials, and implementation of the measures for the reduction of the damage risk can improve gas turbine reliability.
