Interdependence of Organisational Culture and Leadership Styles in Small Firms: The Case of Bosnia and Herzegovina - A Replication Study
The aim of the present research is to explore and establish the interdependence between organizational culture and leadership styles in small firms in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In order to assess correlation between these two variables the research model will be based on the Mergerison’s typology of organisational culture (Bennett, 1981) and Likert’s (1961) concept of leadership styles. Each of these two variables will be operationalised with 6 characteristics (6x6 matrix of interdependence) representing the model of research. Another objective of this research is to compare the results of this research with the results of the similar research conducted by the same authors in year 2004. The research will be conducted during the first quarter of the year 2007, over a sample of 57 small firms in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The collected data will be processed in PC programs SPSS 13.0 for Windows and Microsoft Excel 2000.
