Spirit and body represent complementary unities with permanent surpassing of relationship cause-consequence. Discovery of biblical motives to the child represents in a way an induction of archetypal images and imagination and can contribute to the comprehension of development of consciousness. The act of giving and receving was present in the frame of supportive therapy at the children oncology ward. 16 Does not the dew give relief from the scorching heat? Sirach / the Right Spirit in Giving Alms The atmosphere of Christmas Holiday was suitable for this purpose. The theme of giving and receiving was directed to transformation of existential tension in a child˘s experience of acceptance, empathy and love spontaneity and creativity.
