Dielectric relaxation in Hyaluronic acid sodium salt
Structural properties of Na-hyaluronic acid semidilute aqueous solutions are studied using dielectric spectroscopy in the frequency range 100 Hz – 100 MHz[1, 2, 3]. Two relaxation modes are revealed that can be attributed to diffusive motion of Na-HA counterions. The characteristic length scales found in the measurements are different than expected by the standard theory. Possible explanations are discussed.
