Helicobacter pylori eradication for the treatment of dyspeptic symptoms in chronic renal failure

Patients with chrinic renal failure suffer from dyspeptic symptoms and have an increased incidence of gastritis, peptic ulceration and upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage. It seems that the eradication of H. pylori in uremic patients would produce the samebenefits as in the general population. The treatment of H. pylori schould be carefully chosen with consideration of antibiotic resistance and compliance in CRF patients.
