Conventional and Fuzzy Control Algorithm for Underwater Vehicle Positioning - Comparative Analysis

The possibilities of using combined fuzzy-conventional algorithms in underwater vehicle positioning are discussed. Fuzzy-conventional and conventional (standard) PID controllers are compared. The positioning system is analysed with respect to the vehicle mass change in the conditions of the sea current disturbances.
