Analysis of winter wheat yield in the production system based on tramlines (technological tracks)
The system of tramlines is based on leaving out certain sowing devices and coulters on wheat sowing machines. This is how unsown tracks are formed, where the following technological operations can be performed related to fertilizing and chemical plant protection. The idea of the tramline system is a result of the negative influence of agricultural machinery, which travels through the plants many times and destroys the plants by driving over them. This is especially true for the plants in their later stages of development. Further, machinery is harmful to the mechanical structure of the soil. It does not travel precisely and it causes either underlapping or overlapping, i.e. an uneven distribution of mineral fertilizers and pesticides across the surface (Šumanovac et al. 1998). The total unsown area should not exceed 4.17 %. The yield is expected to increase, and on the other side both the costs and the environmental pollution are expected to decrease.
