The Behavior Rating Profile II in detection of mental health problems

The Behavior Rating Profile II is an instrument based on the ecological rationale for behavioral assessment from a variety of settings and from several partinant responders. The object of this study was to assess the measuring characteristics of the scale on the sample of pupils of lower cognitive ability in regular primary school settings and state its applicability for early detection of behavior and emotional problems in children of lower cognitive development. Theresults obtained on the BRP-II scale were compared to the results obtained on the Adaptive Behavior Scale on AAMD, Part II
