Reading: Some Theoretical Issues and Their Pedagogical Implications

This paper looks at some of the theoretical bases and their pedagogical implications for different approaches to reading. It also considers briefly the influences of L1 reading that have led to the current focus on L2 reading as a dynamic process-oriented activity.
