Comparisons of Different Scenarios of Indoor Radio Propagation at 2.4 GHz

In order to ensure quality of service and reliability of signal reception, it is important to examine statistical properties of the channel. Evaluation of the wideband indoor propagation channel in three different environments, an office, a laboratory and a hallway, is given by comparisons of the measurement results in terms of observed channel parameters. Radio propagation measurements at 2.4 GHz conducted by a vector network analyzer included different environment scenarios, as well as two different transmitting antenna scenarios, an omnidirectional and a directive antenna. Also, some conclusions were made about measurement results for different propagation planes, near the floor and at some height.
