Sažetak
This study was conducted the morphological relationships and variation among red clover (Trifolium pretense L.) half-sib (HS) families of six groups of phenotipically selected parental plants and evaluate the level of dissimilarities among group. A half-sib progeny nursery was established in field trial at Osijek (lat 45032' N, long 18044' E, altitude 90 m). In total, 120 halb-sib families represented by 40 plants per family were sown. ANOVA for quantitative traits was carried out. Differences among HS families as well as differences among groups were significant. Coefficients of variability of traits among groups differed also. Euclidean distances for pairs of groups ranged from 0, 153 to 0, 240. Superior parental genotypes for potential synthetic variety were identified. Results confirmed a substantial amount of genetic variability in the selected materials.
