Possibility of using thermography at determination of heat conduction coefficient
The paper presents the possibility of applying thermography, in calculation of the heat conduction coefficient (thermal resistance) of insulating panels and prefabricated thermally pre-insulated pipes. Determination of heat conducting coefficient of insulating panels is prescribed by relevant standards ISO 8302, ISO 8497 and EN 253. Thermography was applied in both cases for measuring the surface temperature of testing samples and results are controlled by means of prescribed thermocouples. The reason why thermography was applied lay in facts that temperature distribution gives better information not only for determining the average surface temperature but also the information about sample subsurface structure.
