Sažetak
Human exposure to transient electromagnetic fields is analyzed in this work.The transient response of the cylindrical human body model is obtained by solving the space-time Hallen integral equation via the Galerkin-Bubnov scheme of the indirect boundary element method. Determining the transient current flowing along the cylindrical body model it is possible to calculate the specific absorption (SA) as a measure of this transient response. The SA values stay far below the limits proposed by the IEEE standard.
