Sažetak
This chapter describes inorganic models of peptidases and nucleases, enzymes which cleave peptide and nucleic acid chains, by hydrolysis of amide and phosphoester bonds, respectively. Both peptidases and nucleases are applied widely in biochemistry and molecular biology. These enzyme classes have important roles in the processing of peptides, proteins, DNA, and RNA.
