Reengineering and Controversies of Analysis in Transitional Countries
The restructuring of the world economic system has been talking place through the process of integration and globalization, and within it the countries of the post-socialist block have been in the phase of transition. All this together generates the turbulence in which the struggle for survival and long-term existence is dominant. Survival and growth require changes and they are considered through various processes in science and practice. Reengineering has been the philosophy of many enterprises "get rid of old methods and working systems and introduce new ones" (8;192). Science is looking for a new paradigm and it turns to ther system networked thinking of management. Planning, control and information as the basic functions of management in operalization of business activities must be linked. This integral linkage means also at the same time the creation of a specific sub-system of business analysis as the generator of information. Business analysis is in the function of business-analytical recognition of the situation, planned orientation and control of activity. The non-oriented raw materials are targeted to cognition indispensable for business decision-making. The organizationally stable system and methodological preparedness are the prerequisite for operalization of business analysis possibilities.
