Human resource management - Croatia case
In spite of the fact that the construction industry is one of the largest employment sectors that accounts for a significant share of Croatian GDP, Croatian construction companies, generally speaking, do not have efficient strategies of human resources management. The reason for that can be found in a change of political and economical system. Human resource management is important because one may expect that in the future Croatian building companies will face even more intense competition in domestic as well as in global market. A questionnaire survey is conducted in Croatian construction companies in order to investigate present situation of human resources management in these companies.
