Simulation modelling in the Function of Intermodal Transport Planning

This paper presents simulation modelling in the function of the intermodal transport system planning especially intermodal terminals. The simulation modelling based on the functional model of intermodal environment defines a model (among several possible meta-models) of the information flow in the integrated environment. The model of intermodal transport system can be represented by a matrix, map and a table of connectivity and the initial conditions about the maximum and minimum number of channels are selected according to the number of connections of the interest groups of intermodal transport system.
