Incidence of pain of the pulpal and periapical origin
The purpose of this study was to determine the incidence of pain caused by pathological changes in pulpal and periradicular region among the total number of patients examined in our clinic during the period of one year. Examination reveled that 16, 49% were painful patients, out of which 84, 04% had acute type of pain and 15, 96 had chronic type of pain. Out of acutly painful patients 34, 20% came with pulpitis acuta, 52, 37% with acute periapical parodontitis, 6, 51% had dentine hypersenitiviy, 3, 85% came with signs of painful periodontal disease and 3, 25% had dentitio diffitilis.
