Sažetak
Seismic response of reinforced concrete nuclear spent fuel container has been studied. Applied own numerical model for dynamic analysis of 3D fluid-structure coupled problems included nonlinear behavior of fluid (3D elements) and structure (shell elements). Material model of structure is relatively simple and at the same time includes dominant nonlinear effects of the reinforced concrete behavior, such as: concrete yielding in compression, cracking of concrete in tension, tensile and shear stiffness of cracked concrete, yielding of steel as well as the strain rate effects of concrete and steel. The fluid cavitation is also included. Container is modeled with 9-mode degenerated shell elements, and fluid is modeled with 27-node brick element. A very good agreement of numerical with other experimental and numerical tests has been achieved.
