Sažetak
Mice were irradiated with sublethal dose of X- rays. An acute graft-versus host (GVH)was induced. Their skin were grafted onto normal mice, singeneic mice immunized against Cells causing GVH reaction, syngeneic mice deprived of thymus, or F1, hybrid recipients. The rejection of grafts was attributed to: (1) reaction of recipients of the grafts against allogeneic cells that have infiltrated the skin in the donor chimera, and (2) inherent damage of the skin because of irradiation and continued function of infiltrated cells.
