The harmonization of secondary professional medical schools curricula to professional studies at the Faculty of Medicine Rijeka
Croatia signed the Declaration of the European Higher Area, known as the Bologna Declaration, at the ministerial conference in Prague in 2001, taking the obligation to adopt the Croatian system or higher education of European standards. In the academic year 2006/2007, the second generation of students enrolled in the reformed or completely new study programs. According to the experience obtained from professional studies at the Faculty of Medicine Rijeka, the author point to the need of the adoption of secondary professional schools curricula to the programs of professional studies based on the Bologna process.
